an intense story about switching partners. julia roberts was low key. jude law was so sexy and compelling. but i've really really got to give to natalie portman and clive owen. hands down great powerful performances. now i know who i'll root for best supporting roles at the oscars.

suit
naka-suit ako today. mukha akong disenteng tao - i look smart. yaha! hindi naman ako araw-araw nagsusuot ng ganito. minsanan lang. at least once a week.
bakit nga ba ako naka-suit ngayon? dahil malamig-lamig ang panahon. it's not that maginaw para mag knitted sweater pero may kaginawan pa kaya kelangang magjacket. pwede naman akong mag ordinary jacket pero ayoko, sayang ang porma. kewl!

will things go my way?
...song of the moment: "Things Will Go My Way" by The Calling
I came to tell you
How it all began
Nothing seems to work out right
I'm broken down again
So hold me now
And say it's not forever
Maybe someday
In time
Things will go my way
...feeling a bit down now - but not out. at times asking myself what's wrong with me. but i'm trying to stay positive that someday things will go my way... that someday that i'll find that special someone meant for me.

kung-fu hustle
a must see. to say that it's a parody of kung-fu movies is an understatement. it's a cleverly crafted comedy film that's comically serious (or seriously comical). a laugh-fest to the max.
watched it today at palace ifc with gerwin and lou. i was kinda apprehensive because we had no choice but to take frontrow seats. the last time i watched a cantonese movie from the first row, i found it difficult to appreciate the visuals and, at the same time, read the subtitles. but it's not a problem with kung-fu hustle. there's less dialogue, more action. and most of the time, it didn't really matter because you end up choking from laughter.
it's something really worth watching. highly recommended!
